Small everyday frictions, gently untangled.

I’m Kuro. I use web, mobile, and AI to turn those everyday moments of “this could be easier” into tools that feel safe and straightforward to use.

ABOUT THE LAB

Before I build, I listen.

KurodaLab is not a place to stack up ideas. It is a small lab for carefully making only the things that prove useful to people who keep running into the same friction.

I want tools that do not ask too much explaining or patience from the people using them—tools that let someone reach their goal naturally, without having to think about the machinery underneath. Their time and peace of mind come before the maker’s convenience.

What I make
Thoughtful design and development across web, mobile, and AI
What I notice
Information overload, searching, repetitive input, and small daily hassles
What I value
Clarity, reassurance, honesty, and tools that are easy to keep using

HOW I WORK

Considerate tools,
made with the same care.

  1. 01

    Start close to people

I do not look for a use for technology. I start with the frictions and doubts that return again and again.

  2. 02

    Keep AI in the background

More than surprise, I value the quiet reduction of the effort needed to type, decide, and move forward.

  3. 03

Be honest when it falls short

I separate what a tool can do from what it cannot yet do, and I do not push anything people do not need.

CURRENTLY

I’m currently researching what to work on next.

Rather than making something large first, I look at how often a problem happens, how deeply it matters, and why someone would keep using a tool. When something begins to take shape, I will share it here honestly.

NOW RESEARCHING IN PROGRESS

SAY HELLO

If there is a small friction in your day, I’d love to hear about it.

If something in your day makes you think, “could this be a little easier?”—or if this site gives you a thought—feel free to say hello on X. I will not turn the conversation into a sales pitch.
